The main jumping off point for hikers flying in from Norman Wells, Camp 222 hosts a government of the NWT ranger station during the Summer. Its airstrip is the closest to Macmillan Pass, and, since it is located South of the Tsichu River, many vehicles can drive from Macmillan Pass to this point.
